Normally shy and reserved, college student Erin Samuels goes to the island of Santa Marta where she breaks out of her shell and does things that shock even her. And, as if that weren't bad enough, she ends up trapped in a marriage by blackmail!
Dare DeSouza is used to women throwing themselves at him and he lumps Erin Samuels in the same category. Gold-diggers, that's what they all are, but this time he has a plan. He sets out to teach Erin a lesson she'll never forget...and ends up learning the greatest lesson of his life.
An island romance that will keep readers guessing every step of the way...

I am going to agree with one reviewer who said this had potential. They were together and the book was fun at the beginning but they were not together long and we get told that they talked about all this stuff without them actually talking. Then she leaves and they do not see each other for almost 4 months when he comes because he cannot stop thinking about her. He bullies her into going back to the island where they are married now but she avoids him at every turn. For weeks, they avoid one another then comes a point where he comes home for dinner and we get to see them interact but then he tries to sleep with her and she says no and he tells her she will have to beg before he touches her again. Weeks/months go by and he supposedly acts different by being sweet because he realized he has feelings for her but we get told all this after the fact so we still have no interaction for the readers. After a while, a hurricane hits and he takes care of her because she is scared and then he gets hurt trying to check out the house for damage. She pulls him to safety and goes into distress with the baby. Their baby is born months early and he realizes he loves them both. After 2 months in ICU, the baby gets to go home. We get told how much the hero was there for the heroine but again, no interaction for the reader. They eventually say "I love you" and then it is the end. I do not see how they fell in love but if all these nice things were being done by the hero, then I can see the affection but again, I never got to actually read about him being there and being sweet and caring for the heroine. The heroine told us this so it does not count in my book. It was a good read but wish their was some actual time spent together besides sex scenes with the hero and heroine!!! Then I could believe the love between the two!!! Plus there were some miss-steps. One point in the first sex scene, he says he laid her on a bed then says he looks down at the sofa at her, then bed again. There is a point about her hazel eyes but the they are brown during the first sex scene. There was another miss-print later on but I cannot remember it at the moment. That was only a minor irritation and had no real impact on the book because as soon as it was said, the initial point was made again.Product details

Billionaire Island Bride The BAD BOY BILLIONAIRES Series Book 3 edition by Judy Angelo Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I like the damsel in this story line. She is smart, strong , proud ( in a self sufficient not self indulgent) way. He is not the scoundrel billionaire either. Yet they don't fall n love in a lighting crashing, earth shifting way. He values family, does right by his unborn child though his methods in forcing her to marry him, were not the most romantic. But in the end, they fall in love and live happily ever after. But the story develops and allows these feelings to take its time and grow. This is my kind of romantic story. I was invested in their story and was glad it all ended happily resolved, even with the foster care sister.
This book was okay kind of felt like they needed to throw characters change make it a little bit of a drama I wouldn't read it again but I wouldn't discourage you from reading it
This was such a good book. I really connected with Erin throughout the story. Erin had been brought up in foster care. When she was 18, she worked her way through college. Right before she graduated her foster parents gave her a trip to the island of Santa Marta. She went with her foster sister Robin, and some of their friends. Erin had always been the shy book worm. She had always been focused on her studies. While she was on vacation, the girls dared her to flirt with a guy. She didn't want to play their games, but all the girls had taken the challenge. She would not give the girls a reason to pick on her. I felt so bad for Erin. On her way, to flirt with the guy she had picked out, she tripped, causing Dare to fall into the pool, and almost caused the pore guy to drown. To her shock, Dare came up sputtering, and once he stopped coughing, he picked her up and threw her in the pool.
Dare was a wealthy man use to women throwing themselves at him. He thought that was what Erin was like. He thought she was a gold digger. Boy was he shocked later on in the story when he found out she didn't even know who he was, or how much he was worth. This ended up being a really sweet romance. Erin, and Dare had some up's and downs but it made them a stronger couple in the end. I could feel the love between them.
I enjoyed reading this book. There wasn't any huge drama in the book, but I liked the romance part of it. Erin was out in the island of Santa Marta with her friends for Spring Break. She was always the good girl, shy and studious. On their trip, the girls dared her to approach someone and ask them out as part of the bet. She was at the pool and she found her target. On her way there, she trips and instead, just about drowns the guy. The guy was furious and throws her back into the water.
Dare was tired of having all these women throwing themselves literally at him. It was no exception from the girl at the pool. Even though he was attracted to her, he couldn't help how he felt about women who were always after his money. After a few other encounters with her, he decides to teach her a lesson on why not to mess with rich bad boys. Erin was completely overwhelmed with everything that was happening with Dare. She loved how they both felt together and for the first time let go of herself. After they have an amazing night together, he rejects her and told her to give up the farce and to leave. She is shocked and humiliated, but leaves with her chin up.
They go their separate ways and there are consequences to their time together. He finds her, without realizing she was pregnant. When he finds out, he blackmails her into marrying him, his intention was to have her close to him.
The ending is predictable, but I still enjoyed reading their love story. It was a story with a big misunderstanding, but at the end of the day, love won!
